SHORT STAY HOME FOR WOMEN & GIRLS

"DADAS" stands for Dr.Ambedkar Dalithavarga Abhivruddi Sangam. It is state level non-govermental organisation based in Cuddapah Town A.P., India. It is formed by various like minded, individuals, development organisers and dedicated social workers. It acts as a coalition organisation, that facilitates a concerted effort among its target groups, members by building their response mechanism in tackling the complex issues in dealing with socio-economic, medical, welfare and rural development activities. "DADAS" aims to make sensitised effective and positive contribution in minimizing the poverty, illiteracy, ill health, ignorance and inadequate basic, necessities in the life of individual families, communities and society as a whole.

TYPEWRITING TRAINING CENTRE

The Ministry of social justice and empowerment Government of India, Newdelhi has sanctioned 75 Men and Women of Scheduled Caste to impart training to Typewriting to uplift them through technical course for job oriented. This programme is running for the educated and unemployed poor men & women with a view to improve their skill development. The duration of the training programme is 1 year (continuation programme). This programme is successfully running with the assistance of expert faculty and providing technical assistance for the Trainees and also showing placement for the Trained candidates in various private sectors.

COMPUTER TRAINING CENTRE

The Ministry of social justice and empowerment Government of India. New Delhi has sanctioned 30 candidates of scheduled caste to impart training programme to uplift the poor people by providing Computer Education.

TAILORING TRAINING CENTRE

The Ministry of social justice and empowerment Government of India. New Delho has sanctioned 80 Women and Girls of Scheduled Caste to impart training in Tailoring to uplift them through technical course for their rehabilitation to make them self reliance.

The programme is successfully running with the assistance of expert faculty and providing technical assistance for the Trainees and also showing placement for the trained candidates in various private sectors, like dress making centres and DWCRA groups.

OLD AGE HOME

Old Age is the most critical time in Human life because it is the most unproductive age. The old people are the most neglected a lot. Once they are thrownout by their kith and kin, they have no place to go, such old people who are above the age of 60 years and deserted by children and relatives and provided free accomodation and food in the Old Age Home. DADAS is maintaining such Old Age Home since 9 years and providing facilities for 25 inmates in the Home. This scheme is sponsored by the Ministry of Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi. This hostel is fully equipped with all necessary facilities to the aged people comfortable. The scheme is running on very sound lines and its maintanance is being appreciated by one and all.

NATIONAL CHILD LABOUR PROJECT (REHABILITATION SCHOOL)

With a view to eradicate the exploitation of child labour in the society, the organisation took major step and established child labour rehabilitation school at Cuddapah and providing educational facilities, midday meals assistance and rehabillitation facilities for 50 child labour and successfully, maintaining this school with the assistance of dedicated staff under the supervision of the project director child labour rehabilitation agency and this scheme sanctioned by the District Collector and Magistrate, Cuddapah, Cuddapah, with the financial assistance of Government of India, New Delhi.
